Chili Con Carne

2 lb lean ground beef
1 cup green peppers, diced
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons cumin powder, or to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder, or to taste
28 oz tomatoes, diced
7 oz mild green chiles, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced


    1. Heat a large skillet on medium high heat; add olive oil, garlic, mushroom and green pepper.
    2. Stir fry until lightly browned.
    3. Add ground beef, brown; drain any fat.
    4. Add the remaining ingredients, turn down heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
