Our mission at Ideal Weight Loss of San Antonio is to help you achieve your ideal life, inside and out. We will provide the highest quality coaching, nutrition products and information to help you reach your goals. This is a lifestyle change, and we will be with you throughout the entire process, providing continuous support on your journey (lifestyle building) and into your maintenance (lifestyle living). Our goal is to help you, your family and the community live a life of long-term wellness!
Ideal Protein is a three-phase, medically supervised and coached program.
Phase 1: WEIGHT LOSS Phase Reset body to burn fat and lose the weight… By restricting carbohydrate intake, the Weight Loss Phase is designed to optimize fat loss through ketosis (a safe and natural state in which the body mobilizes stored fat as its alternative energy source). You’ll remain in Phase 1 until you have reached your weight loss goal.
Phase 2: STABILIZATION Reset mind to maintain a healthy weight and build healthy habits. Following weight loss, you’ll be coached to slowly reintroduce carbs and healthy fats, and you’ll receive a unique-to-you Macro Code based on the number of macronutrients you need to help you maintain your new healthy weight and effectively manage hunger.
Phase 3: MAINTENANCE Reset possible and live your fullest, healthiest, best life yet… For the first 12 months following Stabilization, you will continue to receive education and support from your coach and clinic as part of the Maintenance Phase. Your coach will provide support and guide healthy food choices for life introducing new strategies each visit on nutrition, healthy eating patterns, behavior change, and environment. Your coach continues to help you incorporate your Macro Code to maintain health long-term. You can stay connected to your coach through our app and Wi-Fi scale, incorporating “Tune-ups” as needed.

How We Do it
The Ideal Protein protocol is a three-phase fully coached weight loss program. We are here to help you through every step of the journey, from losing weight to keeping it off forever!
- You will meet with your weight loss coach to go over the prior week and plan for the next week
- Your weight, measurements and body composition will be recorded at each appointment at no extra charge
- You will purchase your weekly food and nutritional supplements—you are welcome to stop in during office hours just to pick up products as well
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to succeed!
Our program is monitored, because as you improve your health and the weight comes off, you may need to reevaluate medications you are taking. We work together with your primary care physician in determining this.
Why It Works
The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method is based on creating nutritional ketosis in the body, in which the body stops using its glycogen (sugar stores) and uses fat for energy. The liver produces ketones from the breakdown of fat which is then used by the body for energy. This is done by reducing the carbohydrate intake to very specific amount while providing the body with an adequate amount of protein needed to maintain lean muscle mass.
Take Note: The Ideal Protein protocol has a beginning and an end. Carbohydrates are not the enemy, certain combinations of food are the culprits, and we will coach you on how to identify them. When you are finished with this program you will be able to confidently enjoy all foods again!

Who is our program for?
Ideal Protein is for anybody ready to lose weight and change their life. Our clients range from ages 15 to 80+, they are male and female, desiring to lose 10 pounds to over 200 pounds. Ideal Protein is PREDICTABLE, REPEATABLE and MEASURABLE, so we know it will work for everyone, every time!
How do I get started? Call us today to schedule your Initial Consultation. We detail the entire program and record your starting weight, measurements and body composition stats. We will help you set goals, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Every week you will meet with your weight loss coach to go over the prior week and plan for the next week. Your weight, measurements and body composition will be done at each weekly appointment at no charge. You will get your next weeks worth of food and supplies at your weekly visits. You are welcome to stop in during office hours to pick up products as well. Our office is set up as a store also to make it as easy as possibly for you to succeed!
